mp3 player in mustang doesn't work
I know this question should be asked in the audio/visual electronic section but nobody's in there so if anyone knows here....
I have an mp3 player that I want to hear through my car stereo speakers. I bought that adapter that plugs into the ciggerette socket but iit wouldn't play. I tried it in other vehicles and it works fine. Could it be because the ciggerete socket is in between the seats and not near the stereo?

The new sony XPLOD CDX-GT21W head unit only costs $100, and it has MP3 playback. That's something else to consider. I just had mine installed today, and I must say I'm pleased with it. Instead of having eleventy-billion CD's with all of the songs that I want, I only have 3. Definately makes life a lot easier.
