Say it with me now. FMU and stock injectors BAD - Bigger injectors and tune GOOD. Stock or "calibrated" aftermarket MafBAD - Larger that stock Maf and tune GOOD.

whats funny, Chrysler claims that you run on four cylinders to save gas in there Hemil, and good gas mileage, when youll spend $50 a week in gas, system totally sucks azz.[:'(]

But, with a forced induction setup, you might actually see a increase in mileage, if you can keep your foot off the pedal, but we all know that aint happening.
A cold air intake through the fender wouldnt hurt either.

This is anquote I got from a installer/tuner regarding using my FMU or getting larger injectors ect:

You'll B fine w/a FMU. Lots of folks rag on them,(Many cases due to lack of experience) but their next thread sometimes(Often) is WTF happened to my head gasket(s)!!They do run on the rich side of AF(cuts the propensity 4 detonation & promotes cooling the air charge temp) when under boost. However, it is a good thing IMHO unless U R trying to eke every 1/10 of HP out of the engine. If so a FMU isn't your ticket!!!!

"supercharger" & "gas mileage" words from two different languages. I run 42lb injectors & calibrated maf, 255 fuel pump , & calibrated FMU, on stock fuel lines & fuel rail. I still run high 10's low 11's depending my short times. I do agree that agood tune is the best, Iam having a hard timefinding a good tuner in my area .. alot of importguys around here. I don't race much .. my car is just a street toy.... get your supercharger have fun & you will have to make changes as you go .. I always am ... my motor makes over 550lbs of torque that tears my fox stang apart ...I have to rebuild my battle boxes now ... & hopefully i will be done with frame upgrades.... have fun
