275or 10.5is the widest you can go with out modifications. The 275 is about 10.8".

Get a 275/50/15 if you want a 26 inch rear tire. I run 26x10.5 inch slicks. They are a lot narrower then a 275.

26x10.5-15 Mickey Thompson ET Streets or 28x11.5-15 ET Streets are probably going to be your best bet depending on trans. and rear gear set up.
