H has a deeper tone but I like the raspier sound of the x pipe. Make sure you get one with high flow cats either way. [:@]Sucks, O/R is the way to go.

thats what im runnin and yea its loud until 2400 rpms and then it is quieter than my civic was. i cant wait to get an offroad h. it will happen soon.

save up about 500 bucks and get it all at once (mufflers and mid pipe)

I'm from Wisconsin...I run my 90 GTwith no emmission controls at all. No cats either. I just register my car to my cabin up north in a county that does not have to have to emmission inspection in order to get your registration. Get your dad to buy a nice cabin on a lake! They only run 300-500K these days!

get mac pro dumps...they are one of the best sounding muffler on the market...IMO. sound alot better than flowmaster, which by the way flows dont gain any power over stock...it was like 3hp gain over stock mufflers...theres a muffler shoot out with all the mufflers on the market tested...flow performed the worst...but they sound good...other mufflers like mac pro dumps or warlock mufflers(open) acutally have good flow and will have signaficiant gains 10hp or so..and sound amazing

ok so i bought a bassani catted x-pipe, i like it because its stainless steel and is said to be high quality, the snow here is a bitch so i for sure need stainless steel mufflers, which ones are noticeably louder than stock, but not rediculously loud for my dad to get pissed off at me

I got Flowmaster 10 series with no cats and H pipe with Hooker super comp headers. It is REALLY loud.
