Default Will my 8.8 hold up

Hey i have 4.56 gears upper and lower arms. stock axles. my posi is just about shot. would my stock 4lug axles hold up with a spool in the rear. i run nitto 450s on the street and at the track i sometimes run a street slick. its a 91 lx 5.0 bolt ons and ported heads/intake cam 5 speed.

You might want to step up to 31 splines, that is a tall gear and alot of tire!

what mods do you have that would justify a spool? if you have enough hp to NEED a spool then hell no the stock axles wont last. if your going to buy a new center section for the rear you might as well upgrade.

never replace, always upgrade

off topic but nmerrill, get that converter in yet?
also, your sig image never shows up (at least on my pc). always says bandwidth exceeded. try imageshack.us instead

Yea it is in, i got it done tonight, but had to go to class before i got a chance to drive it. By the time i got out the parts stores were closed so i couldnt get fluid. For some reason my bandwidth runs out in like 4 days now. I have a imageshack account, but didnt really like it. I guess ill go back to it though

^LOL, exactly what I was thinking. If you insist on running that ratio I would upgrade to C-clip elims and 31spline at least.
