Default Tremec T-5?

Does anyone know if the stock bellhousing can be used with a Tremec T5? I tried finding some info on it but I cant find anything really. My car has had a starter/clutch/flywheel issue ever since Ive bought it and it sounds horrible when cranking over. My question was I know the car has a Tremec in it but I believe it has a stock bellhousing and a guy at work told me with the tremec trans you have to use a diffrent bellhousing and I was just wondering if this was true. Anyone know anything? Thanks.

ok so what i'm gathering is that your car has a tremic in it (prolly a tko), and u think the bellhouseing from the t-5 was used for the install....

if im missunderstanding this please correct me...

but if i understand this right i'll say this... the t-5 bell housing won't bold to a tremic.

tremic never manufactured a t-5 they stoped making the t-5 b4 the buy out

im pretty sure its not a tko, i just know with this flywheel issue i went to pull the trans tonight and its a fairly new looking aluminum trans stamped with tremec 12-51-066-999 (from what i can tell the first 2 numbers were hard to read) and i was told any tremecs cant be used with a stock T5 bellhousing and it looks like a normal bellhousing, I am not good with my 5 speed trannys and fox bodies are still new to me. When I say tremec T5 i was thinking something like this:

that link is a stock WC T-5, take a pic of whats in your car and a pic of the bell houseing... the bell housing will be very similar only the part that mounts to the tranny will be diff.
