ok so it it was a tranny or rear binding rpms wouldn't have anything to do with it speed would tho, and it could be fuel since free revving take almost no fuel compared to reving under load... u just did a tune up right? is it possable that u gaped the plug to far? higher revs under load = more air and fuel and it the gap is to large then the spark can get blowen out (happend to my roomate when he started running more boost)

I dont think it would be a baffle either. Since you are going in a straight line the fuel is around the pump anyways. Baffle would affect it if going in a hard turn. Easy wat to determine is put gas in it 1/2 or above. Baffle or no baffle gas aint going to leave the pump If there is a lot in it.
