got grey carpet some stains wanna dye it the same color would this be a good idea or a dumb one

If its already all stained up I dont see how staining it the same color is gonna mess it up any more. Mines kinda messed up but I just bought a new black one, but I want to get some new seats b4 I go tearing everything out and pulling the carpet.

i just bought a new carpete kit its not much and its worth the money. and the dye will fade in sun we use that crap in detailing cars ,i guess its all on what you wana do and if you have money to just replace the carpete..

Yeah, i'd advise that too... Only reason I went with dying it was because this is a project car that can't break the $2000 mark before a race takes place, so I'm doing all I can dirt cheap. I figure $7 worth of dye is better for this project than what the cost of carpet is.

or you can just forget about carpet and spray down some ruberized undercoating on the inside lol

I dyed my hatch carpet and I don't like it...looks a little different than the new stuff up front.
