That car probably has the parking brake inside of the hub. So the caliper is just like the front ones.
And MOST rear disc brake cars need that special tool to compress the piston. It pushes in and twists at the same time.
The only car I know of thats isnt like any of these other ones is a probe/mx-6. On the rears there is a 14mm bolt that sits right behind the piston. You remove it and unscrew it, that pulls the piston back. Then when putting new stuff in, you screw it all teh way in until the pads just touch while turning the rotor. It should have some slight drag like a rear drum getup.

The first time i did rear brakes on my 96 Gt. it took 4 hours, 1 bent c-clamp, and 1 caliper boot before I found out they push and screw in at the same time.

Good thing i read up on this before i replaced my rear brakes, i had no idea......I have brandnew rotors/pads that came in the trunk of the car when i bought it, only drove it for 2 montsh then put it away for winter....So it still sits But i'll need to put those on when i get it on the road again. Would a brake job tool kit have this tool in it ?

I done the same thing, except i broke a c clamp and bought a new caliper.... i was cussin' like a sailor... But the tool you need it a little box, looks like a little puzzle or something, it just has notches in it, and you put a 3/8 ratchet in it and tighten it... It has something to do with the e brake...
