Also, make sure you get hardened pushrods... no OEM replacements

I'm not going to offer sage words, I will say that I replaced the heads, cam, intake, lifters, went to roller rockers, had the entire bottom end redone from scratch, borrowed a push rod length checker after reading many posts here, fiddled around with it until I had perfect results, went back to the local speed shop, where they measured very carefully, and ordered me a set of hardened FMS pushrods, in factory length......

Forgot one more thing- when scraping gaskets, do NOT use scotchbrite- it will take your engine apart slowly and painfully
