Default unknown noise

when i accelerate in my car it make a winding/ ticking noise, it sounds like its coming from the passanger side. It used to be almost un notieceable but recently its got alot louder. My one buddy thinks its an exhaust leak, just wanted to see if you guys had any opinions.

your gonna have to describe it a little better then that, thinks that i can think of that will make that noise tho...

speedo cable(youll hear it in the dash)
exhaust leak, headers-mid pipe connection or headers to block

i got nothin, lol you need to describe it better, when does it do it? how loud? constant sound, or random... etc

it kinda sounds like it coming from the air vents on the dash, but you can hear it from outside the car too if i rev it

it does not do it when im ideling or accelerating very lightly, the faster i accelerate the faster the noise gets. you can hear it pretty good at low RPMs if but as the exhaust gets louder it harder to hear but still there.
