Sorry guys ill go get my grandmas measuring tape and measure it... sorry the (hand ruler) isnt very accurate... all i can tell you is that its not tight... My 95 ford escort is more responsive in the steering wheel... Thats not right...

When I check the tie rods do i just check to see if they are moving freely?

Actually, I do. There is 2.54 cm in 1" and there is 30.48 cm in 1 foot!

Yea I defiently just googled that. LoL I thought a cm was alot smaller than that I guess thats a decent amount of play.

its the rag joint on the stock steering shaft

replace it with a flaming river shaft.. the new design eliminates the rag joint and it shouldnt ever go bad again

Looking at their site, the entire shaft is a little pricy, any way i can just get away with a new rag joint and put it on the stock shaft?
