I'll run your 90 lx "with all the bolt on's"

I pulled a 3.73 geared h/c/i fox HARD last time I raced him.

i would say 88 would win hands down. it is lighter and i think had slightly more hp stock for stock with speed density and better cam.

+1 on that point!!!

ORIGINAL: AdderMk2

ORIGINAL: 2 kwik

so atleast 50 hp to even them up
ORIGINAL: AdderMk2

a completely low end LX 5.0 weighs about 3025 lbs, a full trim Cobra weighs 3365, so at the very most, there is a 325lb difference
I would say that a good exhaust system, bumped timing, K&N air filter and MAYBE a larger (65mm) tb would even them up.

I'd still take a slow SN-95 over an ugly fox any day

hate to say it obviously , but i think with perfectly even conditions the fox would win by a couple cars.but **** is there such a thing as a perfectly stock 5.0?

is the 88 an SD car? if so, then yeah I put my money on that. but if it was a MAF car, then i would have to go with the SN95. I had 3.08's over their 2.73's plus better aerodynamics. But who cares aboutdrag, run our cars on a road track
