RE: I managed to kill my stang...
like i said before...put a little bit of gas in the air cleaner and crank it...just enough to get some fumes in the cylinder...if it fires (doesn't have to start) then you know something is amiss with the fuel.

No real easy way to get fuel or starter fluid in there. There's a supercharger bolted on so if i put it near the filer, it would have to go through my S/C and then past my MAF and into the intake... and that could cause some problems.
even if it did fire a little from that, i still wouldnt know what the cause was... it could still be related to a dead eec that cant fire the injectors. Ran fine when I last started it (about a week ago.) but that was before i started messing with everything.

Nope, never tried to smell it or anything. And I definately don't recall any smoke. But I know that some components are so sensative that static electricity can kill them.

RE: I managed to kill my stang...
The computer is still the only thing I can think of. The car has been sitting for about a week ro so since it was last started. The only thing I did during that time was clean the MAF sensor. But that was a day after I had started it up. I never did restart it after cleaning the MAF sensor, but the wires are fine..and either way that wouldn't keep it from starting.

Out of curiousity, is there a way to check the computer to see if it is indeed dead or not? I'd hook up a scanner but I imagine I would only get false codes if the computer was indeed dead.

I am not too familiar with the location of the EEC on a SN95, but on a Fox, there are some wires running under it that could be cut/pulled apart. If you think it is the EEC, open that bad boy up. Take about 20 minutes and analyze all of the board. If something popped/burned you might be able to tell of the bat, and know exactly what happened.
