eh explain the clear flood method in detail please.

If you hold WOT (wide open throttle...pedal to the floor) then the computer thinks something is wrong and it will stop the fuel injectors from spraying fuel. So now the engine will crank but no more fuel will get sprayed in. However, air will still get in. Eventually you will reach a point where the AF ratio is good enough to ignite the mixture and you're good to go.
If it wasn't for that feature, it would be a pain in the *** to clear a flooded engine.

So far I'm sticking with them. Once I actually get to my friend's dyno and once I get my wideband, then I can actually decide if it's too much or not. Right now I'm just setting up the base tune..
Changing shift points, Firming up the shifts a little more, removing speed limiter, turning off smog pump and egr, suff like that.

To be honest, i don't really know yet since I havent done much other than let it idle with a few revs. There was a short 2 mile drive awhile back but nothing stressful. It sounds different. It could be the cam, a vac leak, or the bad (nonexistant) tune, lol. A little rough now, but that is expected. The cam is suprisingly computer friendly though.

one trick to smooth out idel is to adjust injector pulse timing
for the different cam profile
stock computer expects stock cam in there so it fires off the injectors
when it thinks the cam is opening. Aftermarket cam will open sooner
and cause rough idel. Thats where "lope" comes from.
