I've got friends yanking the wheels and running 10.teens on stock axles. I'd probably replce them though when you start running high 10s.

i have snapped many ranger axles in my ranger with a little 2.9 if you want to spend alittle money go with strang axles their products are the shi*t i put them in the front of my truck and with 38 inch tires i have went through one set and that was beating the sh*t outta them with 4.56 gears and a regeared t-case and i was talkin about the rear axles to its how you drive the car i mean you could run all day on stocks and not break em and then you get the kinda person i am like f it lets go and boom their goes one and go opps then again you can also put a 9 inch rear in it to i have seen people with 500 hp truck with 44 inch tall tires run them all day bouncin outta ruts like its nothin and not break its up to you jus my 2 cents once again mabey it was a little much lol

i dont know why people push their luck on stock axles. if you're making any kind of power to the wheels and plan on launching and racing you need to upgrade your axles/rearend. if you're doing just the axles i'd get some or strange

ive launched hard on slicks with 4.10s and stock axles quite a few times with no problems. but i got some moser 31 spline axles and an eaton carrier just to be safe, but i do have friends that yank the wheels with stock axles. im not trying to take that kind of risk though.
