well in the jeep riding world you have full floating and semi floating....semi floating has c-clip and is a pos. the end. here is a nice reference

sorry......saftey hubs are another term for c-clip eliminators. They are the same thing. They are ez for me to install, but Im not sure about anyone else???
The purple thing started out as a joke. I used to work in a High performance engine shop building motors for vintage race cars. Anyway,,, we painted this one block purple and the owner freaked out and painted it black(lololol). After that I said Id do my next motor purple. When I put it in the car up against the silver/green paint, I actually liked it and then went a bit overboard with it. under the hood I painted a cobra snake in purple too... Some ppl like it and some ppl think purp is a girl color... Oh well.... What do I care?

probably not, they are on old military trucks lol, i just know alot of people in our off road club run 2 1/2 ton rockwell axles front and rear and few have 70's. We have ford reverse cut 9 inch up front and a dana 60 in the rear of our 85 cj-8 and we break the 9inch every time we ride. Its got an older vette motor in it all hopped up but alot of the guys are running super charged ls1's in the blue torch buggies and the 1 tons are holding up nice.
