yeah iwas wondering how much roughly it would cost to put a good paint job on a car.. were talking paint, thinner and all of it. 1 gal. and like what colors should i paint it? i was thinking saphire metallic blue.

Thats a question that cannot realistically be answered for you. Every body shop is different, every shop will charge more work, every shop has different views of whats a "good" paint job, same goes for people. Paint prices vary, shop prices vary, labor prices vary,matierial prices vary, etc.

Best bet, go to a body shop and have them check out the car and give you a quote. I went to one shop and got quoted 2K for some minor spray work and than went to a shop across the street and got quoted $600. They are ALL different.

just paint and no work could be ne were between 150 and like 800... depends on the quality of paint and clear coat you buy... if you gettin the work done could be newehere between 2000-10000

as for color... well it owuld be nice to know what kinda car u ahve and what rims u have and if u want lighter or smoked head lights and tail lights

well if u just want colors theres like a thouasn colors that look good on cars... just depends what u put with it...

you need to throw in a lot more details if u want ne straight answers

its 89 lx. i have pony wheels on it now. depending on a trade i have set up i might end up with some form of cobra r wheels, saleen hatch wing, and a cowl hood. also im talking about doing all the body work and the painting myself. i have the guns.

if you have chrome cobra R's go with black or blue or (lambo/tangerine/Brighter)organe with black racing stripes if u like it.... if u have silver cobras go with dark green black racing stripes if u do the green,black, or orange black out the head lights and tail lights if u go with a nice blue get ultra clear head lights and tail lights

i got mroe ideas if u want more but those are ideas ive seen and like a lot...

yeah that blue gt up above there is one exactly like that in my town just this one in my town doesnt have the 5.0 on the side and it has a mustang on the back hatch.

I painted my car myself, and with all supplies, sand paper, base coat, primer, clear coat, flex additive, sanding blocks, hardner, thinner, etc, I paid 700.
