On the top of my waterpump where there is a little dip, water always builds up there. Not alot but a little puddle. It looks like its comming from a little whole in the back of the water pump. what could be my problem?

i did my water pump recently and it was leaking in the exact same area.

the gasket is probably leaking and when u drive down the road its collecting there

My car is just sitting on jack stands in the front and its still leaking.

You dont have a chrome gooseneck do you? We do and it leaked there all the time. We finally fixed the leak using pipe dope and teflon tape.

cracks? it happens..also cracked stat housings

Dont see any cracks. I am pretty sur eits leaking out of that hole cause the car is jacked up in the front. is it suppost to leak a little

nope usually when a pump leaks it's a weap hole...tension spot gives out first<first sign of a bad pump

Whats a weap hole? I just looked at it and the two little holes on the back top of the water pump are leaking a little. Are those the weap holes?
