Default TB spacer...worth it?

Since I at least need a bigger EGR spacer with the new setup, I was thinking of just shelling out a few more bucks and deleting the EGR. I can get a used 70mm EGR spacer for $20 or so, but these "turbo swirl" TB spacers are 80-ish. Has anyone had any experience with them? Does the swirl effect really create that much of a difference?
