I'm not saying it because I have one, but procharger is very well built stuff... Vortech is also a great supercharger.... Its like anything else, you get what you pay for... As long as you don't go with a powerdyne, i'd say you'll be happy.... I personally like procharger, but if i was gonna buy one now, i'd say i would buy a vortech just because of the price difference...

Go with a vortech sq trim... Otherwise, you will hear it.. Most people where i live don't know what the hell it is anyway... They ask and i tell them i've got a bearing going out in the motor somewhere... Hehe...

is the procharger really that loud? how is it at idle and while driving?

and people with vortech's how is it while driving and idle (the super quiet versions)

Mine whistles pretty loud... I can't hear it for the exhaust and blow off going down the road... The procharger is pretty loud though... I've never heard the sq except in clips

the vortech definally sounds quieter after watching some videos. whats the real difference between a v1 and v2? isn't the v2 capable of more boost and makign it faster?

The V1 and V2 capabilities are going to be the same. They are both 1000cfm, 680hp max, 50,000rpm blowers. The difference is the V1 is a lot louder.
