Default Uneven Header Temperatures

I have Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads on my modified 94 GT Mustang. I have a 347 stroker with ceramic coated short headers. I had the temperature measured on my headers. The passenger side header bank measured 300 F and the driver side header bank measured 600 F. What could possibly cause the driver side header bank to double in header temperature?

Thanks

Matt

Is the motor carburated? If so maybe your adjustments are off.

i had the same problem with my old 347 but was never able to find out the problem before the accident. i am hoping more people chime in on this one. although mine was in alternate pipes on the headers on the drivers side. there was about 300 degrees difference from one to pipe to another

Each individual pipe on mine is 600 plus on the drivers side.

Could your crossover on your fuel rail be partially clogged? Have you looked at the plugs? Vacuum leak?

I don't know about the fuel rail; however, the plugs are brand new...Autolite 3924s. I am not aware of a vacuum leak but I am getting a humming noise from my air filter when idling. I did have a vacuum line plugged in the back of the engine that teed with the PCV line.

How does the power feel?
Could it be possible that you have clogged or faulty injectors running on those cylinders?
However it seems to me that if it that were possible, you're still looking at the crossover pipe as fullauto said...
