MCFOMCO... please tell me how or what is intailed in converting my speed density to Mass Air... any websites or personal experience is Much appreciated?.

you need a mass air meter, and a computer... you can splice into your old harness. check the stickys, theres a write up in there... im gonna be converting mine soon

Take all that CRAP off. It will fix your problem.


On the conversion jegs sells a conversion kit to do the swap to mass air. It contains everyting you will need.
ORIGINAL: N8_FIVE.O

um. smog pumps.. are those the annoying hoses and junk that are on the passenger side that were causeing me havoc while trying to tighten my pass side header? and there is a tube that goes into the H pipe... If so then yes still hooked up? Also if so are you suggesting i take that OFF and plug the holes?i will if that will fix it but obviously want to make sure it is not causeing another problem. oh and I no longer have cats... so what is the fix? I might tighten my header bolts again maybe I do have a leak like someone suggested.... Thanks

take it all off? Seriously? I litterally just disconnect and plug up all the hole? i suppose i can put it all back on.... I will start another post specifically for the smog realted topic... Thank for the Jegs tip I will check that out.... btw.. doing the convertion get me what exactly? Everyone tells me to do it they just dont explain why...

and the conversion will make your car more mod friendly

That is correct on all account dimebag. Atleast with Jegs you get everything you need at once and no wire splicing. Mine is the junkyard conversion and spliced wires. I am not 100% on it but I think the jegs deal has a pigtail that plugs in to the ecm.
