i have a 94 5.0 and was wondering what all i can do to it?
Ok, i have ford racing shorty headers, magna flow exhaust system, hurst short throw shifter, and i still have under drive pulleys to put on. What all can i do to the stock parts to gain horsepower. i know i can port and polish the heads, and maybe shave them. But how much horsepower would that give me. i wouldn't mind spending about 1500 on it. I appreciate your alls help.

if youve got 1.5k to port and polish jsut get new heads. also you can bump your timing, take out your smog stuff. any reason you want everything stock?

Bump your timing is an easy power increase, eliminating pulleys, tune up ... But if you have a mustang, not much will be stock with time.... The more you read, the more you look, the more tempted you are= more money you spend. Won't be long your garage or basement will have the majority of your parts that use to be under your hood.... There are very few night and day differences without part changing...

lol i agree, my basement is slowly growing with car part boxes and stock parts.....get some heads and an intake!

Thanks...It was silver... Scuffed up a little... Had to take aircraft stripper to get the factory paint off... Me and a buddy sprayed it yesterday...Turned out pretty good i think for what little painting experience we have

definately man, good work...i wish i just had an aftermarket intake in general lol. still sifting the junkyards for the heads and intake........******* wanted 550 for a motor that didnt run with 225,000 miles on it. i think he saw me roll up with the stang and was like o he just wants the heads and intake lets overprice this kid....ppl these days im telling ya. he wouldnt take 350 for the motor but yet he is trying to sell the whole truck on ebay for 600....i dont understand.

I know what ya mean... I found my gt-40 on corral i think for 300 shipped... They were studded and had trick flow dual valve springs and new pushrod guides... Not hard to find them, and i give 300 for the intake shipped... I really like mustang forums for the forums, but corral has far better classifieds.... Look on there, should be able to find something... Thanks again on the compliment on the intake
