If you a able to upgrade to a wet system I would. As far as people saying not to shoot 150 on stock motor. Would you care to explain why? I would like to know this myself. Just the reasoning behind it. I have been running a 150 shot for quite some time now with no problems. Of course mine is a wet kit though. The only problems I have encountered were caused by me so that rules out me blowing my intake apart as a reason.

I wouldn't spray anything less than 150hp on a stock motor. Then again, you'll never catch me with a dry kit either.

i would never run nitrous on stock internals. your just going to blow **** up. but i would tune down the shot to 75 in a wet version, its a little bit safer.

why do you say that?[&:]. stock internals even with hyper pistons are good for a 100 shot.. forged pistons you can bump that up to 150 or so and still be ok. but.. if there is a week point in youre motor.. gaskets or what not.. as soon as you spray you will find it.

Agreed very much so with this statement. All the rest of you that are saying not to spray the stock internals 1) Have no idea what your talking about.
2) Need to ask your wife/girlfriend for your ***** back.

When you buy nitrous pistons what are they?.............. Hmmmmmmmm Forgred pistons maybe[&:].
So why in God's name would you tell someone to not run nitrous on the stock internals. Hell I know people who are shooting 200 on stock internals with no problems It is all in how you set it up and the kit involved.

I've sprayed 250hp through a single nozzle on a stock shortblock. It's still running with over 170k on it in another car(and being sprayed weekly). I've put 175hp to a few hypereutectic shortblocks. I've never even blown a head gasket. My friends on the other hand, they've pushed plenty on head gaskets... spraying 300hp to a stock motor. A few have even split blocks too. Never had a piston failure though. They've put 200hp and a "lean 200hp" on hypereutectic pistons also.

Any stock car I get generally sees 150hp within the first week of ownership. Depending on a few things, they get raised to 175hp real fast. The only reason there isn't nitrous on my newest LX is because it has beautiful black interior and I don't want to mount a bottle in it. It's getting a Novi 2000 instead.

Finally someone that knows what they are talking about on this subject.

Out of everyone saying dont spray the stock internals. How many of you have actual experience first hand with Nitrous? Not a buddy or a buddy of a buddies third cousin but you yourself.
