Default Leaking Oil

Not sure what happened my 91 GT has been in the garage for about 3 monthes now. Warmed up here over the weekend so I went out to start it just to warm it up. After about 5-10 minutes I shut it off and noticed a small drip. Checked it out appears to be oil. How does something like this happen while just sittin? Any ideas of what might be wrong?

Thanks in advance

alot of cars leak a small amount of oil. it can also be tranny fluid, power steering fluid, coolant. It all depends on where it is coming from if it is really a problem. Like mine leaks at the rear main seal, and if i drove a 5 speed this could be a problem caus oil+ clutch = bad news.

it looks like it is coming from the front of the oil pan, and it is a 5 speed, the leak seems pretty substantial

Just checked and the car is down a bit on oil but the leak has stopped; this seems weird but I guess its because its cold the leak stopped. any ideas what it might be and how to stop it once it gets warm?

gaskets expand and contrast under temp changes I would check to see if any bolts are loose and snug them up if needed

I'm picky about thats stuff I guess .Maybe it becuase I like knowing my stuff is right if it has a leak I wont drive it weather its oil , coolant , trans , or power steering. even a header gasket annoys me . I just go over my car with a fine tooth comb
