Default window problems

ok i have an 89 mustang GT and the passenger window rolls down fine but when i roll it back up about half way it starts leaning forward really bad... and i have to lean over and rock it back and hold it until it is almost all the way up and my fingers cant fit anymore. this has become a hassle and an embarrassment! please help...

Is the run channel new? That might be the problem. It was a problem for our 93. I had to get a ford one for it. Also check the motor bushings they could be shot and make it hard for the window to go up straight.

track might be loose or the clip that is on the arm that conetcs it to the window might have come loose your gonna have to pull the panel and see if anything is loose .Window dotn ahve alot that can go wrong it probally something broke or loose .Not alow invloved with the window so it shouldnt be to hard to find

if u could go into more detail on this... i am not real good with this kinda stuff... i am more electrical and motor type... i have the door panel off already and was tryin to see wat the probelm could have been but i cant see anything...

run the window up and down with the panel off and lookin there and see if anything shifts around or makes and noticble noises

with the widow down like halfway, can you wiggle it around? I'd start pricing out the regulator assembly

I belive there is a rubber bushing that goes there you might have to buy the whole track to get it , if so you could get one form a junk yard car

in that pic above you are missing a small nylon piece:

mine have been loose for a while and it hasnt been a problem. the window just rocks back and forth a bit. it looks like yours is completely missing. if you are in there then you should take out the motor too and see if the gear bushings are there. i made mine from some nylon i bought from lowes but you can buy them at late model too. it's too difficult to explain where they go you will have to take the motor apart to see. here they are:
