i found a 351w short block bored/stroked out to a 408 with eagle flat or dome top forged pistons and forged connecting rods, and pretty sure a forged crank capable of putting out up to 600hp. Now it seems like a good deal, but the guy doesn't offer a warantee and lives about 25/30 hours away from me. Do you think i would have any problems?

It uses some pretty cheap parts. They are 5140 rods and a cast crank and will likely have A1 bolts.

that makes no sense to me other than cheap parts lol... so long as it will hold up with canfield heads, an agressive cam, and a new intake it will work for me... i'm kinda movin away from the supercharger idea...
