Default 6G alternator??

a while back there was a thread in this section talking about a "6G alternator". and from what i remember there was a link to one of these on ebay and its decription was something like, "this unit puts out more than 130 amps and is smaller than most 3G alternators, and no brakets needed modification for installation." anyone have any idea what im talking about?? lol

I remember that thread. I guess the only difference between those and the 3Gs is that you don't have to grind the bracket.I thinkthe holes might already be pre-tapped or heli-coiled (don't quote me on that).
