Sorry to thread jack, but....

I don't plan on taking my car to far beyond 300HP (Mainly since it is a DD, and I have a lead foot), so say I take it to 350, would it be worth it to go with the stage 2 since the stage 1 is rated for 410 torque???? Is the extra $110 worth the extra 110 ft LBS???

might as well get the 2 so if later on down the road you decide to put some more power through it

I realize that... I'm more affraid of it breaking something.

true my 315's were ****. But i've got my old tires on right now, and they are pretty decent.

you also already have a 31 spline rear end setup... so wtf are you worried about?

i'm not worried about the rear end, more worried about the driveshaft and tranny. as you know as you make parts stronger you get to the next weakest link. For example i'd rather the clutch slip than the tranny break. Not ready to spend the money on a TKO just yet.

im glad to hear their good b/c i just picked up my stage 2 clutch and spec fly wheel....cant wait to try it out with my new tko500
make sure you break the trans and clutch in good. when i got mine all set up i made sure i put plenty of miles and heat cycles on it. A buddy of mine suggested driving through neigbhorhoods doing alot of stop and go driving. at least thats what he did to break his spec clutch and TKO in.

Im running a stage 1 with a mildly built motor and I dont have any slipping problems. Ive also got their aluminum flywheel (and damn is it fun!!). After we rebuilt the rear this winter the car goes as soon as you come off the clutch.
