so a floor mat pushing on a pedal is going to cause a tranny to get stuck in gear?i could see maybe it interfering with the clutch but inless it's obstructing the clutch in no way should that effect the shifter getting stuck in gear
ORIGINAL: 5.slow33

i had the same problem, it may not be your clutch or you tranny your floor mat might be pushed up behind the petal i couldnt find the problem on mine and it was just that the whole time. i felt like such a retard

was your car doing this before your clutch instal?

it ,may be out of adjustemnt

It may sound dumb, but take it to a Ford Dealership, only the Master Techs Inspect's Tranny Issues and Usually ARE DEAD ACCURATE.

$75 answer is better than taking a tranny out

or drive to an tranny specialty shop and ask them to drive or ride in the car and they will tell u what it is prolly more accuratly than a dealer and they won't charge u (well most don't) think of it this way would u rather have someone work on your tranny that does everything or someone that does just tranny's??? personaly i take my car to shops that only do that kind of work and thats only is i can't do it myself
