lowering your car that much changes the suspension geometry ESPECIALLY in the front. -- not a problem though if you get the following: Caster/Camber plates, X-ball joint and bump/steer kit. those three will correct the suspension geometry.

ps - I don't recommend getting X-ball joint and bump/steer kit from anyone else but Steeda....Caster/Camber is your choice though....

Griggs has the nicest/cleanest looking CC plates I've ever seen....but you will pay for it.

When it comes to lowering your car there is a certain amount of lowering that will help and an amount that will hurt your performance. I feel that lowering further than 1.5 inches actually hurts the handling of a mustang, due to the stock steering/suspension set up. I lowered my car (94 GT) using the Ford Motorsports Spring kit(FMS-M5300B). Which dropped my car 3/4 rear and 1 1/4 front. As I was aligning the car a discovered that I could max out the stock caster/chamber plates in the full positive chamber setting (bringing the excess negative chamber resulting from the drop) back into factor spec. If you go any further than that you will need aftermarket plates to bring you back into spec. Other wise you'll be riding with too much negative chamber (wearing out the inside of your expensive rubber). Also, do to the low amount of drop I didn't need to do anything with my bumps (the altering of the angle in which my tie rod ends attach to my spindle as it moves through its travel)
