I heard about an '87 GT for $400 last year that supposedly only needed a fuel pump to run. It was supposed to have a good running motor and a good 5 speed.

I went and looked at the car and it was completely ragged out. Not one straight panel, a terrible repaint with paint all over the moldings, a rusted out roof and an interior that looked like a pack of wild dogs lived in it. The roof actually looked like it was cut off and welded back on because there were weird bondo seanson theroof by the windows.
It wasnt even worth the $400 asking price because it needed so much work and I started to doubt it only needed a fuel pump.
