Bogging hard at WOT

Bogging hard at WOT
so I don't run her hard, as much as I should...or maybe thats a good thing depending upon how you look at it.
Anyway, today I noticed some bogging when I floored it. I hadn't noticed this before, well at least I don't think so.
but anyway, I felt like going a little faster so I floored it, and it went, but i could hear the engine bogging, and there was no power.
I have been having that hard start problem.
One thing I think it possibly could be is my fuel pump, I have a 255lph with no reg, and the return system might not be able to keep up with the flow of the pump at WOT.
what do you guys think?

RE: Bogging hard at WOT
I've been running it w/oa reg for months and havn't noticed a problem before though.
My MSD box did fail me yesterday, do you think the extra spark could have kept it going before?...

RE: Bogging hard at WOT
do you even know what fuel pressure your running WITHOUT A REGUALTOR AND A HIGH VOLUME PUMP.
Fix that asap man and replace them plugs before you blow the engine. and replace the O2 sensors if its a slug afterward still. Hope the cats are not melted either
stock pump had me at 54 psi unregulated no ,my meter was not malfunctioning i guess your alot higher than that

if it was at only 38 psi with a stock pump UNREGUALTED, THAT PUMP WAS SHOT
they put a fuel pump regulator for a reason, to keep a steady Psi and Volume, the injectors and ecm can only take so much then its washing down your cylinder walls.
I wanna c a picture of your plugs too,. and dont clean em
