I spun a bearing in my rearend and it screwed up my axle. So i need advice on what axles to get. I wanna try to keep it 4 lug and i want something to hold some power. Any ideas? Thnx!

are you going to go with 31 spline? that would be a lot stronger but you would have to buy a new carrier. i bought the 28 spline alloy usa ones from summit and i like them. my splines were messed up so bad the axles would skip in the carrier a little and the ends where the bearing are they were all pitted. there are lots to choose from. alloy usa were the least expensive i could find.

moser 28 splines.... if/when i brake a stock one, there going in my car, hell they might even go in before something breaks, just for some peace of mind

I bought some Ford racing ones from 5.0 Resto but they were 31 spline.

I'm not familar with axles. Whats a spline? Is a 31 spline just tougher and am i going to feel a difference?

I got a set of 28 spline mosers

the spline count will determine the od of the axle, a 31 spline one will be larger than the 28 spline and if you get 31 spline axles you need to get 31 spline carrier

Dude, you get like 5 RWHP for each spline above 28, so upgrading to the 31 spline axles gives you 15 more RWHP. By the way I also have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn if anyones interested

A guy at Reider Racing told me that guys in the 8's were using 31 spline axles w/ no problems if your wondering about strength.
