More bark for my sn95
ok guys I jsut got a 95 gt and its got an exhaust on it already. It looks like headers but from what iv read did these cars have half *** headers stock? Its got what looks liek the 2 preheaters and stock cats with a nice duel flowmaster catback with the 2 muifflers. It sound like 50 series but its not much quieter then my 98 f-150 with a 40 on it. Were these cars actually still pretty quite even with 40's on them? Is there anyway for me to tell if the mufflers on my car are 50 or 40 series? Iv herd some pretty awesome sounding foxbodys that had an awesome bark but never any 94 or 95's that were that loud, is there any reason for this? Sorry iv got a lotta questions im new to the newer mustangs

With an offroad H pipe your flows will be pretty loud, even the 40s with stock H pipe isnt that loud. The easiest way to see what flows you have are by the size of the mufflers, the 50 series are longer than the 40 series because of the extra chamber.

Yes, the stock H pipe quiets the car down a LOT. Here are a few pics of the Flowmasters to help you decide which you have:
40 series mufflers "American Thunder"
50 series mufflers "Force II"

even with an off-road h-pipe my car is pretty damn quiet under 1500 rpm's
cruising at 50-60 mph in over-drive my car cannot be heard.
drop it into 3rd, and well.. it can be heard heh
