Default 2.02 valve on a stock block

ok so i posted all of my mods on a different thread, and thanks to anyone who replied. But there was some cause for concern. I had a couple people say that i cant run a 2.02 valve on a stock block.
Has anyone ever done this or know someone who has, is it really just a waste of time for me to mock it up and see what my clearance is like?
Let me know what you think.

According to Trickflow the Twisted Wedge heads are the only heads with 2" intake valves that can be used on a stock 5.0, otherwise the pistons have to be cut.

You can make it work, but you will more than likely need a custom cam. I've seen a few guys claim to do it with a TFS 2, but there always seems to be something shady about their story. Most of the people have done things like rebuild the motor with "stock replacement" pistons and don't know the difference. I've never personally seen an OTS cam that will work on a real stock shortblock with a 2.02" inline valve head. That's not to say they're not out there though. The TFS TW gives you all kinds of choices.

At the shop I work at we have a 302 with stock pistons, windsor sr heads and a b303 cam and the valves tap just turning the motor over. The motors now just a big paper weight in our shop until the guy that owns it gets some pistons with bigger notches.
