Default Crank pulley bolt?

I am tearing down my engine for a rebuild on my 87 GT and I need to know what size the center bolt is on the crank. I tried both 7/8 (to small) and 1" (to big) and I would like to know what size so that I can purchase the correct one. Thank you.

15/16" should do the trick. By the way, the crank pulley bolts hold the crank pulley to the crank. You're thinking of the crank bolt

I just didn't know what else to call it. On all my other cars that I have worked on it was the crank pulley bolt.
