Default Keep FMU?

My car currently has a vortech SC trim supercharger on it and im getting prepared to do a HCI swap. The car has a FMU on it right now but i have heard people say that as long as i am getting it tuned it is better to take out the FMU and just put a fuel pressure regualtor in.Is it better tokeep the FMU or ditch it for an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? Thanks in advance for any advice
