hey eveyone. I have an ecyu out of a 1989 2.3 auto and I need a 5.0 w/o mass air. Is there any wasy of reprogramming this computer or adding something to it to make it work with a 5.0? Around here everyone wants around $200 for the one I need. Thanks

You should be able to fine a ecu for around 100 bills, just keep looking.

The 2.3 and 5.0 computers are based on different strategies. Re-programming is not possible, at least not with the tools we have available.
