took the fifty out of the garage for som PICS!
first time shes been out for months.i can't pass smog but i can take pictures.

i love california too much. my mother in law does live in a county were smog is not required but i don't know how i'd go about working that out with dmv. just seems they be on the look out for that sort of thing.me registering it at her address that is.

Register the car from her address. Worst case scenario, sell it to her for $1 and just keep the actual title. You will have to provide proof that you live there, so just change your address for like your cell phone and credit card bills temporarily to her address. You will have to cheat the system but it can be done with relative ease. I have done this many a times and will continue to do so given my vehicle's require inspection.
