Default what sensor is in the block? *now with a pic*

so i've had this question for a while but never thought to ask. what sensor is in the back of the 5.0 block just behind the intake? i dont have any wires going to it and as far as i have been told we dont have knock sensors. i dont have any pics but does anybody have an idea what it is? im stumped

just behind upper intake and located in the lower plenum would be the PCV vavle, should have 1 or 2 hoses cannected to it, but like you said no electrical connections, just a guess, sounds to me like thats what it is.......

no its behind the lower intake and if you're looking from the front its just to the left of the pcv

Pics would be good...... Off the top of my head, there aren't any connections back there for anything (other than grounding the block to the chassis).

I can think of a few grounds back there, but that's it. One from a head to the driver's side firewall, and one from the wiring harness to the firewall. Where does the wire on the thing go?

does look like oil p sending unit turn engine over w/ it out if it blows oil bingo that is real cose to a chevy's location
