Default What is this?
This hangs down from the dash above your feet, when not stuffed up in there. What is it?

It was hanging when I got the car. I assume it mounts somewhere. It hanges down right about above your left leg of the car, to the left of the steer col.

the only thing that i can think of is a relay for the turn signals or something like that and its just missing the cover. I just replaced all the wiring in my 87 and didnt see anything like that haniging down so im assuming its something thats missing the cover

It might be for cruise control. Its definitly not a relay though. In my 86 my cruise control ciruit was on the left side under the dash in a little white box. Maybe someone took the box out for some reason. I haven't taken cuise control out of my 87 yet so I'm not sure where its located.
