Default tire help

I have 275/40 r17 tires and was wondering what psi i should run at the track. they are BF goodwrich T/A. I went to the track today after I finished breaking in my clutch and i did not like the results i saw. Im just not used to the harder pedal feel of the heavy duty FR clutch, so its like i have to learn all over again. Also I had my launches video taped and my car's suspension is not hooking as well as it should. it has stock suspension in the back. 94 GT btw

Are you serious with breaking axles or is that a figure of speech. and if its the axle shaft, i wouldent mind cause i find that easy and cheap to replace.
