Guys.....valve lift has no impact in PtV clearance issue.....when any of the valves are open at full lift, the piston is >1.5" below the cylinder deck. PtV problems are exclusive @exhaust TDC (exh closing - intake opening, both valves off their seats or open at the same time, anywhere from .016" to .157")......when they are like this.....



....and the piston is close or @TDC.

hey whats the matter with you those are chebby heads[:'(] LOL

duration has alot to do with it because longer duration cam will hold the valves open longer.
