i ran a 3/8 intake spacer with a trickflow track heat intake and it barely barely cleared under a stock hood

I think with stock valve covers you should be OK.

Jasper... there is somewhere on here running theFRPP "Tall" VC's with a 1" spacer on a stocker and he said it rubs.. not sure how bad or not but I agree that evena 3/8 spacer is cutting it close. Look at it this way though, its a good excuse for a nice cowl

was that on a sn-car? if it is i really don't know how cause on my car it would rub so i really don't see how

i'm running 1" spacer, and it definetly wouldn't clear the hood, all the good reason to get a hood scoop. got mine from an 86 fox, clears with no problem and looks great too...
