is there anychance any of you can take a short vid of your car running, of the harmonic balancer? like 10 sec will get the job done, i just need to see something... if ya can, i appreciate it.

i need to see how another looks while running compared to mine... i think mines fine tho, not sure... yea man if u can do that that would be AWESOME.

prob. is i have a really bad vibration in my drive train... im sure its this, it does in all the time AND sitting still idleing... i think my balancer may be ****ed up...

Didn't you just do a tranny swap? Did you mess with the flywheel at all? Did the vibration start after the swap?

yes i just did a trans swap, no it just started after i changed my oil pan gasket

heres what i think it could be

balancer messes up(ilfted motor buy it and trans, per my teachers suggestion)
motor mounts tighter then they used to be? or not tight enough?

your harmonic balancer is 19 years old.... and you lifted your engine by it.... you didnt have a vibrations before...

I'd say you screwed it up!

i say you tell your teacher he is retarded for having you lift the engine there and he needs to buy you a new balancer

yea see, im not ****in retarded, this is what im thinking too.. if i werent, well i wouldnt be asking, lol.

but the reason i think it is ok is that looking at the crank pully it doesnt have any woble or anyting to it.. and i dont remember how the balancer looked before, hence the asking for a vid
