well i blew my engine =/
on saturday my engine was running hot [on the last white line]
and i drove it w/ no problem, never went over into the red
so later at 1 am [sunday morning] i was on my way to my dads
when my engine started going into the red, i pulled over and popped the hood
it WAS NOT hot at all, i could keep my hand on the intake manifold
so i later saw that the dipstick had popped out along w/ the dipstick housing
pulled over to a gas station [after it "cooled" down] and put oil in and drove 4 miles to my bro's mom's house
in the morning we popped the dipstick housing back in, checked the oil [was fine..a little over]
and drove to my dad's..4 miles away i hear a loud knocking
so i pull over and pop the hood, it's a little hot but not overheated
try to start it and hear metal on metal..my brother says it was the #5 piston
and that i had thrown a rod
well the good news is my dad bought me a new long block yesterday [stock..new internals and stuff]
and i have to wait for the weekend to pull out the old engine
and he's taking it to the shop to put it in because i live too far away to drive up everyday and i have school
and now i have a "practice" engine to work with and learn about the internals
because we're gonna rebuild my dead engine

If you have parts and stuff on your other motor, like the Trickflow intake I see in your avatar, just swap all that over while you're at it.
