I did the compression test on my 94 5.0the other day with the engine cold and I got poor results. #1, 85 #2, 90, #3, 90 #4, 90 #5, 120 #6, 95 #7 125 #8, 120.
After doing some research I found out you are supposed to do this test with the engine completley warmed up and with all the plugs out. So I redid the test and was very happy. #1, 135 #2, 140 #3, 135 #4 150 #5, 140 #6, 135 #7, 140 #8, 140.
I am super happy with the results. I still have a super smoke issue. I dont know where to go from here.

when is it smoking?

when i start it ( most of the time) and when I go hard on the gas.

you have worn valve seals...does it smoke when you let off the gas?

for a bit yea then it goes away. Im pulling the heads off and having them redone.

I found some heads on ebay that are a full reman stock replacement for 225 shipped to my door. They dont have rockers on them, cam I use my stock ones? What else will I need? to complete the install?

How many miles did you engine have one its, and were you running 1.7s on it?. just trying to think why they wore, i not my car smokes a little bit at about 5000 rpms, i just dont run it that hard- or try not too
