hmmm, sounds like you have bad struts and springs up front
my 351W dropped my front end some, but no where near 1.5 inches.

call the guys at www.maximummotorsports.com and see what spring rates
and shocks they reccommend.

How much its going to cost for upgrades depends on how fast you want go
like the old saying "How fast do you want to spend?"

First, welcome to the boards...

Second, you're going to have to narrow that down a little...
We don't even know what the current combo is...

Thank you,
its just a stock 351w nothing special and im looking at getting it started to turn into something. Or what would you recommend doing first. Its just and old car is the best way to describe it.

$750 isn't going to get you near 400hp... any other funds available? a 400 horse build will probably run you around $4500, probably a bit more (h/c/i and a stroker kit, plus fluids, gaskets, materials, etc...)

I have other funds yes, but i want to start out slow, and hell no if i wanted to juice something it would be an orange, so NOS isn't an option. So since 400hp isn't doable right now what would be some recommended upgrades to make more power for around $750?

im still in the process of getting this car, but its "mine" i just have to go get it from the guy next time i get the chance ill take my camera and try to post some pics online so i can get input from everyone whether to do interior or go for power first.

Intake and carb good place to start.
Exhaust, headers that kind of stuff too.

Big heads and cam are useless with out proper intake and exhaust to let them breathe
